ABOUT US
Daniel J. Brown is a criminal defense attorney based in Central Texas, representing clients in Travis, Williamson, and surrounding counties. He regularly appears in court and has experience handling cases from initial magistration through trial, including serious felony matters.
Daniel was born and raised in Texas. He earned his law degree from Baylor University School of Law, where he completed the Practice Court program—an intensive, hands-on trial training curriculum focused on courtroom advocacy, procedure, and real-world litigation skills.
He began his career in public defense, representing individuals at some of the earliest and most critical stages of their cases. That experience shaped the way he practices today: direct, prepared, and focused on protecting his clients from the very beginning.
Daniel approaches criminal defense holistically. A case is not just about the charge—it affects a person’s job, family, housing, and future. He works to address those realities alongside the legal strategy, positioning his clients not just for the best outcome in court, but for stability moving forward.
He has worked on complex and high-stakes cases, including violent felony trials, and understands how quickly a case can turn on small details. Whether negotiating with prosecutors or standing in front of a jury, he approaches each case with the same goal—to put his client in the strongest position possible.
Clients come to Daniel during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. He takes that seriously. He communicates clearly, prepares thoroughly, and advocates without hesitation.
